NYC Bound December 20
I have not posting much lately. Alicia and I are going to NYC Friday morning. I am looking forward to going. Alicia has never been. I hope she enjoys the city as much as I do. We have tickets to see Sam Mendes’ new play The Vertical Hour. It stars Julianne Moore and Bill Nighy. I am looking forward to seeing it. We are also going are to try our luck for tickets on TKTS on Friday. I would also like to see Spam Alot, but the original cast has moved on.
I got my ipod on Monday. It is my first ipod. I have had two Creative mp3 players before. I have had only had a little while to try it out. I have enjoyed it so far. I was listening to Midlake’s, a Dallas area band, new album, The Trials of Van Occupanther. It is very good, but quite a change from their first album, Bamnan and Slivercork. I would like to see them live; of course, Murphy’s Law usually hits me. They are playing in Dallas on February 24 which is the same night as our Cirque du Soleil. That is the only event we have in February and of course it overlaps.
