Amory Lovins On The Charlie Rose Show November 29
I recently started watching The Charlie Rose show. He has some very good guests and is a great interviewer. I was watching today’s show, and the first segment’s guest was Amory Lovins. I have never heard of him, but what he was saying caused me to take notice. He is a physicist and an environmentalist. He proposes a switch in energy that is both clean, but creates a positive cash flow over current energy costs. His solutions are based on more efficient use of energy and different energy sources. The main energy savings in transportation is use of carbon fiber composites to decrease amount of weight. His energy source solution is small-scale renewable sources. It is an interesting and compelling solution. Lovins is the author of several books including Winning the Oil Endgame: Innovation for Profit, Jobs and Security that can downloaded from his Rocky Mountain Institute’s website.
