Texas Music Weekend Ahead November 10
Alicia and I are going to have a Texas music filled weekend. It starts tonight with Lyle Lovett. He is playing at Bass Concert Hall in Fort Worth which is a great venue. We are meeting Alicia’s sister and brother-in-law to go to the show. Then on Saturday, we are driving down to Waxahachie to do see Ray Wylie Hubbard. I am looking forward to both shows a lot. It’s been over two years since I have Lyle. This will make the 3rd time seeing him. It’s been around four months since I have seen Ray Wylie Hubbard though the last time I saw him, he was with a band. This time he is just him playing which I prefer. I think this is my 5th time to see Ray. Look forward to my reviews of both shows.
I am glad it is the weekend finally. It has been a long a week. I had to step and redesign the file upload for my application at work. The users had requested a progress bar which presents some technical challenges in a web browser. The solution that was originally delivered did not work in firefox and safari. It was also inconsistent in IE. I spent all day Thursday and a good chuck of Friday getting to work. It uses a mixture of an iframe and direct web remoting (DWR) AJAX to get working. I will post a notice when it goes to production.
