How ‘Bout Them Horns! October 7
I am watching the UT / OU AKA The Red River Shootout. The horns have completely dominated the second half. UT scored first and led at the end of the first quarter 7-0. Then OU buckled down and held UT to 3 and outs for the length of the second quarter. I was nervous during halftime. OU got the kick to open the second half. UT held them to a punt and turned that into touchdown on the ensuing drive. Then UT never looked back. The score is currently 28-10. Kudos out to redshirt freshman quarterback Colt McCoy, wideout Limas Sneed, and cornerback Aaron Ross. The defense looked a little shaky during the second quarter and part of the third quarter. They gave up some long pass plays, but they buckled down and have held OU to zero points and even scored one of their own TD’s on a fumbled lateral.
